Authors' own titles can be submitted to DorothyL Memorable Books

By Theresa de Valence - Posted on 30 November 2011

If you are an author, here are our guidelines for posting your own titles to the Memorable Books On DorothyL list:

  • Regardless of the copyright date, you may include one of your own titles. After all you worked very hard on this book, so it has been very memorable to you. If you include more than one of your own titles (except as noted below), we shall delete all but one title, and the choice of which one is ours.
  • In addition, if you have had multiple stories published during the year (for which we are collecting), you may include all stories published that year, including short stories individually listed. This includes publication of a backlist as ebooks—the publication year is the important criterion here.
  • If you submit the title of any republished book, please also list the original copyright year as well (we sort based on copyright year).
  • Along with the submission of your own titles, include at least one additional title for each title of your own. In other words, if you want to list 3 of your own titles copyright [this year] plus one other, please include 4 titles by other authors else as well.

That’s it! You may send the list directly to me if you please. If you can’t find my email address on DorothyL, send me an email using the contact form above and I’ll send you my email address directly.

Thanks and I hope you send in some titles!
